How do I know if the product is Halal?
There are two certified bodies in South Korea that are recognised by JAKIM (as per February 5th 2020) to certify whether a product is halal. These two bodies are:
- Korea Muslim Federation (KMF)
- Korea Halal Authority Corporation (KHA)
These two bodies carry their own logos which are usually printed on the product packaging for the consumer to identify whether the product is halal. Below are the two logos:
Korea Muslim Federation (KMF)
Korea Halal Authority Corporation (KHA)
